Tri-State Express, Inc. was founded in 1978 as an air cargo cartage company. Originally known as Tri-State Air Cargo, Inc., in 1990, the company expanded to the LTL motor freight market. In 1991, the company changed its name to Tri-State Express, Inc. Tri-State provides service to all points in Ohio, West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky. In 1998, the company earned its ISO 9002 registration, further proving its commitment to providing quality service to its customers.
