Durham Terminal employees participate in the North Carolina Special Olympics Convoy
Durham, NC
Durham terminal employees participated in
the NC Special Olympics Convoy in September
in Durham, NC.
The NC Truck Convoy is registered in the
Guiness Book of World Records for having
the largest convoy at one time. The Convoy
takes place every year to raise money for
Special Olympics.
Each truck requires $100.00 in donations
to enter. Terminal employees had three weeks
to raise money for their entries and the
DUR terminal raised $325.00. Wilson was represented
with three trucks in the Convoy driven by
Kevin Taylor , Melvin Perry and Merrell Pettis,
all city drivers with the terminal.
Congratulations to the employees of our Durham
terminal.
