Wilson Trucking awarded "LTL Carrier of the Year Award" by Chemtreat Incorporated.

In March, employees of Chemtreat Incorporated visited the Richmond facility of Wilson Trucking to present their coveted "LTL Carrier of the Year" award for 2008. Since 2004 Chemtreat has awarded this honor to a carrier based upon a points system that rewards performance in 23 categories that fall under 3 key areas of expectations.

A carrier achieves this award based upon an overall score derived from a wide spectrum of performance factors relating to the handling of LTL shipments. The key factors determining a carrier's grade includes overall measurement in performance of operational requirements and instructions, personnel appearance, driver demeanor and complying with customer's polices and procedures. Not only are Chemtreat associates involved in providing grading data, but customers are involved by completing surveys that indicate their assessment of the quality of the carrier.
