Columbia, SC – On March 15, 2006, the South
Carolina Trucking Association hosted the
“Oscars of the Trucking Industry”. During
their annual awards banquet, Wilson Trucking
Corporation was recognized as the motor carrier
with the best overall safety record in South
Carolina. T. Guy Wilson, Executive Vice President,
was presented with the 2005 GRAND TRUCK SAFETY
AWARD.
Wilson Trucking also won first place awards
for General Commodities, Intercity, 2,000,001
to 5,000,000 miles and for General Commodities,
Combined, 5,000,001 to 10,000,000 miles.
Curtis Thomas of the Columbia office of the
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
presented Wilson Trucking with the 2005 Most
Improved Truck Safety Award .
