Sales Representatives
Sales Representatives are responsible for
securing revenue dollars equal to or exceeding
terminal operation expenses, which allows
the terminal's operating ratio to be at or
below the corporate operating ratio. They
develop, establish, and maintain business
relationships both internally and externally
to accomplish the revenue goals within their
assigned area. The sales representative is
responsible for negotiating and implementing
pricing to maximize growth and profitability.
They are expected to grow in the product
and industry knowledge while managing their
activities with minimum supervision.
Applicants should possess:
• College degree or comparable business
experience, preferably in the transportation
or service industry.
• Ability to evaluate customer needs and
determine how Wilson Trucking Corporation
can best meet these needs.
• Favorable driving record and background
check
• Minimum of 2 years of sales or industry
experience
• Transportation services sales experience
a plus
• Strong relationship building skills
• Good negotiating and selling skills
• Effective communication skills
